Craftinery Terms

Effective date: 25 August 2026 Version: 1.0

These Terms cover the craftinery.com website, applications to test Craftinery App and Craftinery App. Craftinery Lab is a separate product and is not covered by this document.

1. Provider and contact

The provider is Dietetyk JULIA NOWAK, a sole proprietorship under Polish law, ul. gen. Tadeusza Bora-Komorowskiego 20/57, 03-982 Warsaw, Poland, Polish tax ID (NIP) 5222814473, REGON 520926090.

General contact: hello@craftinery.com
Support and complaints: support@craftinery.com
Privacy and account deletion: privacy@craftinery.com

2. Website and testing applications

The website provides information about Craftinery, public materials, applications to test Craftinery App, double-opt-in confirmation, unsubscribe functionality and contact channels.

Applying to test is not an agreement for access to Craftinery App or Craftinery Lab and does not guarantee participation in a specific testing round, alpha access, a launch date, price or particular feature.

A testing application and consented communication become active after double-opt-in confirmation. You may withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting privacy@craftinery.com.

3. Website technical requirements

You need an internet-connected device and a current browser supporting HTTPS. A working email address is required to submit and confirm a testing application. The form may use reCAPTCHA to protect against automated abuse.

4. Craftinery App — service

Craftinery App helps organise your own handmade projects, including stages, parts, work time, notes, materials, tools, photos and instruction files. It is an organisational tool and is not accounting, tax or legal advice or a professional valuation service.

The current version may be provided as a limited test or alpha. Invitations, access grants and test duration may be restricted. Applying to test Craftinery does not guarantee access to the App in a specific testing round.

5. App technical requirements

Protected App access requires a compatible Android device, a current authorised App version, a working email address and internet access for account creation/sign-in, synchronisation, password recovery and periodic entitlement checks.

After a successful access check, offline use may continue for up to 24 hours. Not every cross-device feature is available without internet access.

6. Account, age and Terms acceptance

Users must be at least 18 years old.

The protected App agreement forms when you receive access, accept the current Terms and create or activate an account. You must provide a genuine email address, protect your password and not share the account with third parties.

Craftinery records the accepted Terms version, acceptance language and user-linked information needed to identify the accepted version. Fresh-account first run and first synchronisation have been physically tested in the current Android candidate.

Password recovery uses the account email and a recovery link that returns the user to the App through a deep link.

7. Data, synchronisation and devices

The App uses a local-first working layer while account data is synchronised with Craftinery’s cloud. One account can be used on a phone and a tablet.

One device controls an active work session at a time. Another online device may explicitly take over control, and the session can then continue on the device that took over.

If a data conflict is detected during synchronisation, Craftinery may stop automatic overwriting and ask the user to resolve the conflict. The exact behaviour depends on the type of changes and the devices’ connectivity.

8. Backups, restore and updates

Cloud synchronisation and exported backups serve different purposes. A backup is saved to a location selected through the Android system picker; available save locations may depend on the device and Android version.

Restoring or using a Replace all operation may replace the current account dataset and then synchronise the restored state with the cloud and other authorised devices. The process may take longer when the backup contains many projects, history entries or files.

Backups are account-bound. A backup belonging to another account is rejected. A backup does not transfer account access, trial status, premium status or other entitlements between accounts.

The current update flow may offer creating a backup before continuing to download a new version. It does not silently install updates.

9. User content and files

You retain your rights in your content and grant Craftinery a limited, non-exclusive permission to technically store, copy, synchronise and process content only to provide the service.

You must not add unlawful content, content infringing copyright or privacy, malicious code or data processed unlawfully. Buying a pattern or instruction does not automatically grant a right to redistribute it.

10. Acceptable use

You must not bypass access controls or security, attempt to access another user’s data, disrupt infrastructure, load-test it without permission, resell accounts or use the website or App unlawfully.

11. Access, revoke/expiry and termination

Craftinery may suspend or revoke access when a test or grant expires, security or law requires it, the Terms are materially breached or service becomes impossible.

Expiry or revocation does not automatically delete local device data. App access and account deletion are separate processes.

Where circumstances allow, you should create a backup before access ends if you want to retain your data.

12. Account deletion

You can delete the account in Craftinery App through Settings → Account → Delete account or submit an account-deletion request through https://craftinery.com/delete-account. The in-App deletion flow has been physically tested in the current Android candidate.

After successful verification, active account data and related active cloud data are deleted within 7 days, except information retained for a legal obligation, security reason or claim. See the Privacy Policy for details.

13. Updates and changes

Craftinery may provide functional and security updates. You should install versions required for compatibility and secure synchronisation. Material service or Terms changes will be communicated in a way appropriate to the change.

These Terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights concerning conformity of a digital service, required updates or available remedies.

14. Availability and liability

We aim for secure and continuous operation, but maintenance, connectivity, providers, testing or failures may cause interruptions. Test versions may contain errors; this does not exclude liability that law does not allow us to limit.

Craftinery is liable under applicable law. You are responsible for the lawfulness of your content and for protecting your device and user-controlled backups.

15. Support and complaints

Send website or App support requests to support@craftinery.com. It helps to include the App version, device model and safe reproduction steps. Never send your password or full backup unless given a specific secure instruction.

We will respond within 14 days of receiving a complete complaint unless mandatory law requires another period.

16. Intellectual property

The Craftinery name, logo, visual materials, text, website layout and other materials may be protected by copyright, trademark or other rights. Using the website or App does not transfer those rights to you.

17. Governing law and language

Polish law applies without removing mandatory consumer protection under the law of the consumer’s habitual residence.

The PL and EN versions should have the same meaning. If an interpretation difference arises, the Polish version is the reference version, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights under the law applicable to the consumer’s habitual residence.
